Title: SQLite ODBC connections
Post by unixrulemas on Dec 2nd, 2005 at 10:24pm
Hi,

I see this file newdatabase.sql in C:\Program Files\watchDirectory.
It looks like there is a SQLite db sitting somewhere...is there a way to connect to this db using JDBC?

Thank you.

Yes, there is a file called history.db for each of your tasks. They are located below your task-directory, normally C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\watchDirectory.
In last month's newsletter, I offered 2 tips to query those databases, see http://www.watchdirectory.net/newsletter/200511.html

Anyway, sqlite has a lot of "wrappers", including a few for Java:

also see

I never used any of them, except SQLiteExplorer ( http://www.singular.gr/sqlite/ ). Most of the time, sqlite3.exe (the commandline sql tool) is more than enough.
