Title: Directory Name In Email
Post by abrimberry on Dec 27th, 2005 at 11:49pm
When using the $FP$ variable in an email, if the directory affected contains a space, the hyperlink to the directory stops at the space (used underline to demonstrate hyperlink)
\\Server\share\Plan Folder
Anyway for it to be:
\\Server\share\Plan Folder

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

At the moment WD sends plain text email only, so any hyperlinks you see are added/created by the receiving email client. A future version of the email plugin is planned that allows HTML emails, that will allow you to embed hyperlinks when sending messages.

You could try to change your current email to something like

The new directory is <a href="$FP$">$FP$</a>

maybe your email client will interpret that correctly.

Gert
