Title: How could I do this???...
Post by ian on Jan 26th, 2006 at 8:08pm
I am using the copy utiltiy to essentially keep 2 folders synchronized.  I like the idea that when a file is modified, a copy of the previously synchronized version gets saved, but renamed with a timestamp in the filename, however, users are getting confused with all these extra copies.

I would still like to retain the ability to have these previous versions saved, but i would like to have them automatically moved to another directory.

Is there any way to do this other than to create one monitor / copy job and another monitor/move job?

Thanks

Not at the moment, sorry.
But this is a good idea for a future version, so I put it on the todo-list.
