Hi All,

I have some problems regarding wdPostMan service.
When starting the mail rule, WD was automaticly start PostMan Service.

After trying to connect the following error pop ups:

Could not start the wdPostMan service.

What is going on> does anybody know how to fix this issue?

Ok, I think we found the error.
It looks like the problem is after delete the trial version on c:\trial\watchdirectory
not all files where deleted and there are running some hidden files, ore not all file where deleted.

Now we have payed for this app and reinstalled it on another location like: c:\programfiles\wachtdirectory.

When checking the wdPostMan.exe properties after a clean install the path of executable was leading to the old directory (c:\trial\watchdirectory)

So it looks like the settings are stored in some place where we don't know and where we where unable to delete / change them.

How can we fix this??

Did you delete or uninstall the trial (which is actually 100% the same as the bought version, just without the license key)?

Anyway, to fix this issue:

Open a command prompt (run cmd.exe from Window's Run... menu)
enter the following 4 commands:
CD "Program Files\WatchDirectory"
wdpostman -uninstall
wdpostman -install

"-uninstall" will remove the wdPostMan (System.Mail) Windows Service.
"-install" will add it again (using its current location)
