Title: ftp upload (file does not exist)
Post by ismlyldz on Dec 4th, 2012 at 4:53pm
Iíve defined a process through which new folders that come in are uploaded via FTP. However, when the server cannot be reached or when there is a problem on our end, we pause this process for a specific period of time and then restart it. The new folders are then transferred. How can I prepare a system that transfers the folders that could not be transferred while the process was paused and/or interrupted?

workflow attachement.

For that you really need to "Synchronize" the source and target (ftp) folders. Currently, WatchDirectory does not offer that option and just reacts on "new files".

Here is a possible work-around.
Let this upload task "move/remove" the uploaded files
Set the monitoring method to "file age" and let it monitor for files older than 1 minute, do not select the option "remember triggered files".

If you configure it like above, the task will detect all existing files (older than 1 minute) and upload them.
