Title: Automatically Delete Files Post by joe.miller on Jun 29th, 2013 at 12:00am
Hello, I am trying to set a new job to automatically delete files that are older than 90 days. However, the files are on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux server. The job appears to run but the files do not get deleted. Any ideas/help??

Can you please
- stop the task - change its settings to write "debug" (on the "other" settings) - run the task for a while (so it should detect a few old files) - stop again - right-click it - on the little popup-menu select "backup task" Please email me the zip this creates and tell me the full name (\\server\share\dir\hello.txt) of a file you think should have been detected/deleted. I would like to take a look at the settings and history for this task. |
