Title: move oldest file\folders depending on disk space
Post by Don on Aug 13th, 2014 at 10:51pm
Hello
I would like to setup a job in WatchDirectory to monitor a computer on my network's disk space availability and when the threshold is met start to move the oldest files to an archive location and keep the same exact directory / sub directory structure.

I was able to create a job to do something similar for another one of our systems, but instead of moving the files it deletes the oldest files firs. For this process it works flawless as we do not need the old files, but for my other systems I need to move the files and keep the same directory structure.

How do I accomplish this

Thx

Hello Don,

You can use the "folder size" task for that, see http://www.watchdirectory.net/wdhelp/plugins/wdopFolderSize.html
