Title: Move 4 digits to end of foldername
Post by Easyvoip on Aug 13th, 2015 at 12:10pm
Goodmorning!

I've got the next case :

Before the foldername looks like this :
3209 - Customername

My wish is that the foldername will look like this after renaming :
Customername - 3209

So the first 4 digits should be moved to the end of the foldername.

Is this possible? I've already looked at the dynamic naming config but didn't figure it out yet.

Thanks in advance.

Greetings Joey

Hello Joey,

Most people overlook the {functions} you can use with dynamic naming, they are described at the bottom of this page: http://www.watchdirectory.net/wdhelp/plugins/dynamicname_functions.html

It seems to me you need something like

C:\Target\{left{4,{filetitle}}} -{stringafter{-,{filetitle}}}

but it depends a bit which plugin/task you intend to use.
