Hi I'm using rackspace servers with the same smtp settings I use with other apps that work but cannot get a test email sent successfully.  It then asks if I would like to see the log, I say yes and nothing happens.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Are you sure the port you use (25) is correct?
Most SMTP servers that support SSL work on port 465.

I am not sure why you do not see the message log. WD creates a testemail.log with email session output inside your TEMP directory and tries to start notepad with it.

and according to https://support.rackspace.com/how-to/rackspace-email-and-hosted-exchange-settings/

"For protocol SMTP (outgoing), use SSL server name secure.emailsrvr.com at SSL port number 465."
