Please can you tell me when WatchDirectory should send an email? Is it as soon as a warning or error message is written to the history database.

I have just done a quick test and it did not seem to send me an email till I had manually stopped the task that was generating the errors.

Also, is it possible to set two email addresses for this option (in the Others tab).

Hello Tony,

Those messages are sent with a 30 second delay and if another warning/error is generated during that time it is automatically "combined" with the first message. I am not sure if the 30-second delay is restarted at that point.

To add multiple emails separate them with a semicolon:
<john@example.com>;<alex@example.com>

Thank you for your prompt response.

I suspect that the 30 seconds delay resets after every warning/error message. The error messages that my test task were generating are due to me deleting the monitored folder (the task was set to retry every 30 seconds for 25 attempts). So warning/error messages were generated every 30 seconds. When the task finally gave up trying to reconnect to the monitored folder, the email was sent.
