Title: Rename file based on extensetion before ftp
Post by Skot1 on May 19th, 2017 at 5:08pm
We have a system that will deliver  files with a date stamp.
e.g.   12mar17.csv, 13mar.csv etc
on ftp transfer we need to rename the file to the same name .  e.g.  output.csv
So our system produces different file names and out customer needs the same file name.  Can this be done? We already have the software

Yes.

On the FTP settings window enable the option "Dynamic Naming" and use something like this for the "FTP Base Directory":
/home/targetdir/output.csv

When you use "dynamic naming" you don't set a directory on the FTP server but the full name of the target file.
