WD 4 TP and Move

I'm hoping that you can help.

I need to the following:

1- Monitor a directory for changes
2 - ftp those changes to a certain directory on that ftp server
3 - move the file to another directory on that ftp server

I know that I can easily do steps one and two, three is the issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Bill Geoghan

Hello Bill,

I am not really sure what you want to do with step 3...
The file has just been uploaded to /incoming/newfile.txt, where do you want to move it to??

We have a client that needs us to do a 2 step proces when we FTP to their server.

First we need to FTP the file a 'in-transfer' directory.  Once it is in the 'in-transfer' directroy we need to perform an FTP move to move the file from the 'in-transfer' to the 'in' directory.

I know that you support uploading the file, but I basically need to either run a script or the like to perform an FTP move to the 'in' directory once it has been confirmed in the 'in-transfer' directory.

Thanks,

Bill

Just released version 4.0.34. The FTP plugin can send "raw ftp commands" to your FTP server after the upload has completed.
See http://www.watchdirectory.net/wdhelp/plugins/wdopAutoFtpCommandFile.html and http://www.watchdirectory.net/wdhelp/plugins/wdopAutoFtp.html.
