Ftp experiences
Nov 11th, 2005 at 12:18pm

Hi
I'm thinking about buying this product mainly because of the ftp functionality. I have downloaded the evaluation version (which often hangs when editing tasks..) but I do not have an ftp-server available at this time.
So I was wondering; are there any known issues when using this plugin?
I'm planning on using this straight-forward (watching a certain directory, transferring files through a firewall to an ftp server and then continue some work there)

thx

mm, that's a new one. Does it really *crash* (no response, you need to end it using task manager)?

Yes, I have to end the process in Task manager. It happens when switching through the tabs on step two of the "edit process". I have been running the program on a windows 2003 server.
Btw; i finally got to test the ftp-functionality and it only took me about two minutes to set up the task and get it working. Great! I'm overall very pleased with the product and have recommended it to my customer.

Later today I'll release a new version that should do better when changing tabs. It is probably caused by the html pane with quick-help at the right of the tab. However, I could not reproduce your original crash, so maybe this won't help.
