max amount of zipfiles
Jul 6th, 2006 at 9:54am

Hi,
I'm new to the product and was testing the trial version (4.0.45).
I setup a automatic zip and FTP flow, which worked. However I have one question:
the creation of the zipfiles seems to be limited to 50. Is this due to the trialversion or is there a setting that I'm overlooking?
The folder which is being watched has 60 subfolders (those need to be zipped) in it and only 50 of them are processed.
Can someone help me out?
Thanks,
John De Smet

Hello John,

There is no such limitation in the trial version.
Can you try to enable the option "write debug information" as described in the FAQ ( http://www.watchdirectory.net/faq/faq.html ), and see if there are any messages written to the task-history database that could explain it?

Gert

Hi Gert,
I've enabled the debugging and I can see that the application finds 60 directories to zip. However I don't find any information about placing the zipfiles in the target directory.
The strange thing is that there are now 53 zipfiles created in stead of the earlier 50.

Best Regards,
John
