SMax4PNP Error when batch file runs
Sep 25th, 2007 at 9:35pm

We have watchdirectory setup up to run a batchfile when a new file is dumped in to a directory.  The batchfile simply opens up a folder on the desktop.

Every time a new file is dumped into this directory and error occurs.

SMax4Pnp has encountered a problem.  This is a brand new dell machine.  We have the most recent audio drivers loaded.

Any suggestions....Does watchdir call the soundcard?

Hi,

WD does not use the soundcard in any way. I just googled for SMax4Pnp, and found this page:
http://www.file.net/process/smax4pnp.exe.html

You may want to try one of the suggestions (uninstall. re-install or rename SMax4Pnp.exe to GONE_SMax4Pnp so it doesn't load).
