Hi,

Is this for the SFTP protocol? I am not 100% sure (need to test this a bit), but I think the SFTP protocol ignores - does not implement - ASCII/Binary transfer settings.
FTP and FTPS protocols do implement it.

Yes it is. You see, the thing is that we did get to copy the files and folders form one Windows Server to a Unix Server using the Watch Directory, but it didn't have the text properties.

We make a copy thru an FTP and a PUT protocol manualy and it did copy the file correctly so we a re asuming that the FTP is not the problem.

We are using the Version 4.5.5. Maybe in some configuration that we need to do , maybe is the version, and, if it is the version, how to upgrade, because the server running the aplication dose not have internet. (It isn't alowed to have it for security resons.) And can we use the same
permanent Key?

We be wating fot your reply.

Well aparently the update of the version is not the solution, because i update it to 4.5.8 Ver. and it
still copy the file to the Unix Server but with an invalid format.

Any help will be apreciated.

Hello,

Maybe I wasn't clear: If you select SFTP the binary/ascii settings is IGNORED as it isn't supported by the protocol. Binary/Ascii is only supported by FTP and FTPS.

Sorry for the confusion.

Strange - it should work for FTP...

Is this really a "plain text" file or is it perhaps a Unicode file (or UTF-8 or such)?
