Keeping Windows 7 Awake
Jun 18th, 2011 at 1:14am

Is there a way, while running long process from a bat file (Cli), to prevent Windows 7 from hibernating.

In an effort to conserve some energy, I turned on some pretty tight energy settings, but I'm finding that my machine is hibernating in the middle of a bat process, and doesn't complete.

Thank You

I have no experience with that, but you could try to use the powercfg program to enable/disable hibernation. At a command prompt enter
powercfg /?
to see how it is used.
