I have a task that is set to monitor a directory & sub directories and copy new/changed files to a different location.  I had a filter setup however to ignore all jpg files.  My client now wants to create a copy of JPG files.  I removed the filter, so it works on any new or changed files, but how do have watchdirectory go back and copy any files it didn't when the filter was enabled.

I tried the "fire FILNEW/DIRNEW events for all files at startup" thinking that would do it, but it didn't.

Is there a way to sync directories or files?

Hard to say. The way you describe it, it should work.

Are you perhaps using the "File Age" monitoring method with the option "Remember Triggered Files"? In that case deselect that option, that will cause ALL files to be copied again.

Otherwise please email me a backup of this task so I can have a look, see http://blog-en.gdpsoftware.com/2010/06/send-task-backup-to-support.html

Ignore the part about "File Age/Remember", please. It should work with or without that setting.

Please send me the backup.
