delete a 'remote' file based on its local deletion
Apr 16th, 2012 at 6:04pm

How would I go about setting up a watch on a 'local' folder - i.e. on the C: drive that when a file is deleted it deletes a file with the same name/path on a networked drive.

I have a Copy task already sets up that detects any changes in a folder - c:\my-folder-root\ and immediately syncs this to a networked drive z:\my-networked-folder. What I would like is if I delete a file on local - the equivalent file is removed from the networked copy

i.e. if I remove c:\my-folder-root\logs-from-last-week\tuesdays-log.txt then the file z:\my-networked-folder\logs-from-last-week\tuesday-log.txt would also be deleted.

Possible ?

Any advise - warmly received  Smiley
