Task not detecting all of the history.db files
Nov 9th, 2016 at 12:33pm

I have created a WatchDirectory administration task (Monitor-Runs) that monitors the history.db files for all of tasks running on the server for changes and then runs a SQLite query against the history.db files and inserts new records in a central SQLite database.

This task is scheduled to run between 03:00 and 03:30.

My problem is that the task does not detect changes to the history.db files for all of the tasks that are running (these history.db files change frequently, some every few minutes).

I have made a backup of the task but it is too large to attach to this topic. I attach the task config file instead and a png file of all the running tasks.

Any insight on why this task does not work as expected would be appreciated.

Tony,

Inside the WD Control Center, the menu "View -> Options -> Ignored Directories". The directory with all those files is typically ignored.

If you have already removed this directory... I guess you run a .bat script? Maybe the bat file (your SQL script) fails somewhere.
