Crash to Desktop on Windows 7
Aug 3rd, 2018 at 11:54pm

Recently, our instance of WatchDirectory immediately crashes when opened. See attached screenshot.
No UI is ever shown.

Additionally, we upgraded the product on this machine to the latest 4.9.5, with no change.

Hello Jason,

Not sure what is happening here.
Do you see the same when you run this command:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\WatchDirectory\wdrun.exe"

Please note: I did not receive an email alerting that there was a reply to this thread.

Please see attached results of running wdrun.exe.

Also, I noticed the mention of services in that text, and checked what was installed as services on this machine. I see a wdPostMan which is set to Start Automatically, but isn't running. When I tell it to run, it successfully runs, but refreshing the services page reveals it stopped running. Not sure if this is intentional.

Hello Jason,

The fact that wdrun.exe starts without crash is a good sign. That being said, I have no idea what has happened to the wdcc.exe.

Would it be possible I can remotely login to your server to have a look? Using something like teamviewer if possible?

I will contact you by email in a minute.
