Gave up monitoring directory after 25 tries (Read 365 times)

Vernon YaBB Newbies Offline Posts: 12	Gave up monitoring directory after 25 tries Nov 19^th, 2024 at 1:45pm I have several copy file tasks setup to monitor a directory however the machines get shutdown at night time and so the job gives up after 25 tries. Will it continue after the machine comes back on? If not how can I get it to NOT stop running?

Oops, sorry. I missed this post earlier.

What you can do is setup something to automatically start the tasks again. For example every hour starting at 7AM each day.

Please note the important difference mentioned about starting tasks that are set as a windows service and tasks not running as a windows service.
