watchDirectory running really slow

Have watchDirectory (v4.9.5) running on a couple of servers, we have it on one Windows 2016 Server along with watchFTP (these are the only apps on this server) and it runs horribly slow.  Can take up to 60seconds to open the properties of a job.  The Control Center Pro job table keeps refreshing slowly also.  Anyone got any clues as to the cause?

24 Jobs, all running as services.  System Mail not running.

Our other instances of watchDirectory are all fine and responsive.

Hi,

We've had a few reports from customers about this. It looks like it is caused by "weird" interactions between WD's gui (user interface) and the video card (or emulated video card on virtual computers) and/or video drivers. Replacing and/or updating those seem to fix those issues.

We are running Hyper-V and using default video driver.  Is there a way to backup watchDirectory remove and reinstall to see if that removes the problem as it is really unusable for us in the current state.

We just re-installed watchDirectory but still getting the same performance results.  Any other suggestions to make it work like our other instances?

Reduce the number of tasks.
Try on a different computer?

Is there anything in the app that can be fixed?  To split the tasks accross multiple windows servers requires new license along with windows license.  This is not a practical option at this time.
